
SIT Tin Yan Cecilia is Chairperson (2024–2026) of the Hong Kong Enterostomal Therapists Association (HKETA), championing international partnerships that elevate standards, education, and accreditation in enterostomal therapy. She has strengthened cross-border collaboration by establishing a collaboration between international nursing professional groups like Australia, Malaysia, Singapore, and New Zealand, enhancing collaborative programs in clinical guidelines, professional development, and practice standards. She also promote the serving on international clinical guideline groups for venous leg ulcers and pressure injuries, and actively contributes to international peer-review and research networks.
Under her leadership, HKETA has expanded global engagement, creating new pathways for local nursing professionals to access international opportunities, and enhanced competency recognition and continuing education programs. With over 20 years in nursing education and healthcare management, Cecilia is recognized for her strategic execution, resource management, and ability to build strong partnerships across professional bodies and care providers.
Her credentials include Doctor of Nursing; Fellow of the Australasian College of Health Service Management; Fellow of the Hong Kong College of Health Services Executives; and Fellow of the Higher Education Academy, reflecting her commitment to advancing enterostomal therapy through collaborative, international change.
