Professor Dr. Jurriaan Tuynman is a colorectal surgeon dedicated to innovate, educate colorectal surgery for colorectal cancer. He is trained in Amsterdam and in Oxford and is working in Amsterdam UMC. He is Principal Investigator of multicenter/national trials including TESAR, COLOR, RIGHT and OLIPEC. He is the lead for colon surgery training for surgical trainees, he lead advanced courses including robotic CME for right colon cancer and has set up a large national training project to improve outcomes for right colonic cancer; the Right Project.
